No it wasnt. It was weak, if you want to make that argument. But he actually extended his arms. Pretty easy call if you ask me.

Then gets the personal foul and shouldve had a block in the back call lol. What moron.

Now that is a great throw...and an even better catch. I hope Boise blows them the hell out.

Called for instant replay. I really don't see how this could be overturned.

Running into the kicker is different from roughing. That was definitely running into the punter.

Please explain how a guy running who is falling, extends his arms to brace himself with the punter is a bad running into the kicker call? Thats about as straightforward as I can think of.

there is also a difference in running into the kicker and taking 2 step before touching him. Herbie even was a little wary on the call.

Agreed, not roughing, but that was textbook running into the kicker.

Doesnt matter when he ran into him in relation to the finishing of the punt.

Well maybe I should rethink this. Don't need for Boise to jump into the number 2 spot.

Boise has got to keep their foot to the floor and run it up as much as possible, and then pray that VT look like world beaters the rest of the way after this week.

This has been impressive thus far, but being week 1 it is hard to say how good/bad VT really is.

So your argument that it wasn't running into the kicker is that the guy was literally running when he hit the kicker?
