Yeah it was. He'll be a problem for the rest of the teams on the schedule IF he can make it through the season.

I don't like Michigan but no player has been as dynamic or impactful through the first two weeks.

The reigning Heisman winner has been hurt.

I doubt Robinson wins it but he would if you gave it out right now.

Brian Kelly just said it wasn't a good loss, but I don't know, I may argue the opposite.

Notre Dame was 24-7 with Crist, 0-21 without. It's pretty obvious Notre Dame was the solid team with Crist and Michigan runs an offense that is more frustrating than anything.

This doesn't change any opinions, for me, about Brian Kelly or Notre Dame this year. I still think the defense is greatly improved and I still think Brian Kelly is a terrific coach.

The difference this year and last year: we couldn't stop them at all last year, Forcier tore us apart. This year though Notre Dame was capable but lost a shootout when their quarterback was injured.

To say anything else, is laughable.

Yeah Robinson is unreal. ND played way too well defensively in the second half to lose that game. Offense with mistakes all over the place and that's what happens.

No, not a good loss at all.

Agree 100%.

I'd like to see ccrunner's Heisman list as it stands right now, but in a different thread. He has posted enough here.

I said I MAY argue it. I think Notre Dame was the better team, but I didn't think we were going to go undefeated so this isn't a life-changing experience.

Through 2 games he has piled up 430 yards passing, 455 rushing, 5TD's, and a game winning drive. Long, long way to go but his stats are insane so far and Michigan will probably be a decent team the rest of the way so that should really help his cause. Great start though.

scUM beating ND is like someone raping your wife and then on top of it she tells you his dick was bigger than yours too. God I hate the skunk-weasels!

That decision to go for it at the half came back to really bite ND in the ass.

If they kick the field goal there...they have a chance to kick a field goal for the win at the end of the game instead of having to go for the endzone.

Overall...crushing loss. But it's nice to see that with Crist this team is pretty damn good.

Agreed but hindsight is 20/20. If Kelly is not sure Crist is gonna return at that point.....I probably go for it too.

Agreed but at the time it was the right call. The offense was doing nothing with Montana in there and they were only at the 3 because of horrible coverage. If Crist didn't come back, that was the best scoring chance ND would have had the rest of the game. Maybe if Montana could have kept the ball in play...

If Montana leads his receiver on the next to last play of the 1st half it's 6 but we could "if" all day.

That's exactly my point. With the offense struggling...and barely able to scrape together a few yards...I think you kick that field goal and get some points on the board.

I texted my brother right after that completion and said to kick the field goal.

I understand what you guys are saying...but if it's me, unless my kicker is missing a leg, I'm kicking the field goal because I want the sure points instead of a risky play into the endzone.

Great game from Denard today. Made the big plays when they needed to be made and the last drive was almost perfectly done. Defense still leaves a lot to be desired but a W is a W. Very good chance for Michigan to be 5-0 before getting into the meat of their schedule.

ND will be so long as Christ is their QB. Montana was awful and not kicking the FG at the end of the half came back to bite them. Still a terrible throw by Christ on the final play because you have to allow your guys to make a play and he didn't do that.

Agree to disagree. I hear your logic. Can't say I completely disagree but, if Kelly was thinking the same way I was....take a shot there because if Crist doesn't end up coming back......3 points don't mean shit. Now, if he knew that Crist was likely to play in 2nd half.....I definitely kick it.

I think Joe needs to take his wife and Nate to Maury for a paternity test. There's no way that kid has his genes with how terribly he played today.

I don't have a huge problem with him outside of that audible that he called which resulted in an INT. You're 3rd string.....run the play called.

The kid looked OK running the ball. But when it came to throwing it...he left a lot to be desired.

I think the bigger problem on that play was him staring Floyd down, then not throwing when he was open. He waited until the underneath guy fell back into Floyd's lap before pulling the trigger. I think I saw Kelly telling him to "throw the damn ball." He was timid with his throws unless they were 3 yard outs to Rudolph.
