I've tried Kill Zone 2 and Haze and didn't like either one really. I'm a hugh Halo fan I'm just not wanting to spend money to play just one game for Xbox live. Anyone know of any titles that are on the PS3 that is like H3?

or are you looking for more of a direct duplicate of halo 3, with a sci fi theme?

i would go with Resistance 1 and 2.

Yeah, probably Resistance 2.

Also, some people love "Warhawk"...I couldn't get into it.

It's 3rd person, and I think it's somewhat similar to Halo in certain ways...Probably can get it for $10-$15 and it still has an active community.

Resistance 2 is really good. You should definitly play the first one as well, as the story is really great, but the 2nd game is better. I'm sure you could find a synopsis of the first game online and just jump into the 2nd game.

there was something like 50,000 people online the other night playing halo 3. Thats crazy! That game has been out like 3 yrs

Twisted Metal??? A PSone classic coming to the PS3. I was badass in that ice cream truck in 5th grade. That brings back some great memories.

It's rumored but one of the lead devs on GOW 3 have made more than a few comments about Twisted Metal but with HD graphics and new game play for the PS3.

To the person who asked about sales about the ps3 ESPN had a special on on sports video games and it was something like over 3-4 mil wiis, 2.9 360s, 2.6 ps3, and considering how many people probally bought a second 360 I'd say that the amount is about the same right now.

Geez. I just read about it not too long ago and it didn't sound like Feb, but I guess Feb it is.
How about Contra for the PS3, I know it was a limited release in Japan I think for the 2.

twisted metal 1 & 2 were great but twisted metal black took all the fun out of it. anybody remember the code for the ice block? lol

I don't think I ever played Black..just 1 and 2.
