The treaties to end the wars give Israel some land, and now Israel has to give it back?
That's just plain retarded.
We should give back Mexico most of the west (the demographics are already there), we should give back Puerto Rico and the Phillipines to Spain, etc.
Matter of fact, we should give back everything east of the Mississippi back to Great Brittain.
So, the US would be left with the land that includes the Lousiana Purchase, Florida, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii?
Sounds good to me.
This is BS, you attack a neighboring country and lose (big time) don't cry 40+ years later for your land back.
Only thing is those areas the U.S. took we made them full citizens and added them to the U.S. Or, we gave the Philippines the option to be a free state.
Israel is doing none of that. Instead, the occupation areas have no rights, no states, they are not Israeli citizens and live a life without a country.
Israel is facing a painful reality, if it does not do something to create a two state solution, if there is one giant state, the Arabs outnumber the Israelis now. That means no state solution equals no Jewish state. Or, it turns into another South Africa, with a minority ruling the majority.

As for American Jews, when will they wake up and stop supporting this President?
If you're a jihadist, it looks like Bin Laden's death wasn't totally in vain. Part of his dream is coming true . . .
Ehhh, American Jews are not one giant voting bloc. It is very diverse. Between Jewish friends I have it is a 50/50 split on approval of the Presidents. Young Jews today do not see Israel as the older ones due. They grew up with a strong Israel and do not see a point in the occupation.
All of this said, I still blame both sides for not obtaining peace because in view neither sides really wants peace. Both leaderships do not want to make those tough choices or decisions on the matter and enjoy the viscous cycle.
