Westerville Central will be hosting another clinic on June 26, 2010 with more top notch clinicians. This clinic will feature Keaton Anderson in the morning. Keaton (who wrestled for Pickerington in HS) was a three-time Ohio state champion, a 4 year starter for OSU and a 3 time National qualifier and All American.

Our afternoon guest clinician (who NCAA rules prevent us from naming) was a four time All American (1999-2002), taking third at the 1999 NCAAs, Second in 2000 and 2001 and winning in 2002. He was a three time Big 12 champion and three time Midlands champion. In 2007, he won a silver medal at the Pan Am Games and placed 5th at the World Wrestling championships. He qualified for the 2008 Olympics after winning a silver medal.

After lunch, Mike Kozak will again work with the wrestlers demonstrating speed and agility moves, including footwork drills.

This is an outstanding lineup for an off season clinic and a great way to keep yourself fresh on the mat during the summer. The cost is $40 with lunch being provided by Westerville Central Wrestling Boosters.

We look forward to great turnout for this event. A pre-registration form will be available in the very near future.

DUDE!!!!!! This is sweet! If you do NOT know a cradle after this wclinic, you weren't paying attention!

Can't wait... See you then.

I love the subtle reference to the wrestler that cannot be named.

Quick note with the above alluded to wrestler... bring some money in case he has his DVDs with him. They are WELL!!! worth the purchase. Can't remember the price or I'd post it.

ewaceo, thanks for your interest in our upcoming clinic. I'm trying to get the revised flyer on our website, but the verbiage on this post is directly from the new flyer. If you just want a form to be able to pre-register, go to www.wchswrestling.com and go to Post Season Opportunities and the first draft of the flyer is on there (the one that was prior to confirming the Guest Clinician). Hopefully I'll have the revised one available soon, but in terms of pre-registering, you can use the one on our website. Again, thank you for your interest.

Tell Keaton Gerb said hi. We used to bum dip off each other in high school. Glad to know he is doing well, always a hard working kid.

Many thanks to all of the clinicians who shared their expertise and skills at this clinic. The group was smallish, but all who attended worked hard and had the opportunity to learn some great stuff!
