I thought of starting this thread after commenting how Herbstreit uses the term "True Freshman" 100 times a game. What are some of your favorite/not so favorite cliches from College Football? I know a bunch of them, but here are a few just to get us started

He is a high motor guy
nose for the football
pinning your ears back
dangerous in space

Haven't really accomplished much but they did have a close loss to USC a few years back that will eventually put the program back on track

they're no longer playing to win--they're playing not to lose

it's a shame somebody has to lose this game

there's no quit in this team

When Reggie Bush was playing Herbie always said this

"He's running and just when you then he's going to get tackeld, he presses that B-Button and keeps going"

You know what Herbie on Playstation it's the O Button or the Right Analog Stick. Not everyone plays XBox you prick.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure Reggie doesn't have a controler in his pocket, he spins or jukes; no button involved.

They're playing Tressel Ball

No, they're chewing the clock to get the win. I'm pretty sure Michigan, Iowa, FLA, ANYONE ELSE doesn't play Tressel Ball
They play Rodriguez, Ferentz. Meyer....Ball

True, true. I would tune in to Keith Jackson broadcasting 2 0-11 D3 schools playing in the snow just to hear him call a game.

^^^Agreed.

Without a doubt my (as well as many others') faborite broadcaster of all time.

His comentary used to be one of the best parts about the Michigan/OSU Game
And the best part of the Rose Bowl.

I wish he still did just those 2 games or just the Rose Bowl still.

Yeah those two games would be great just so we could hear "we've got a dandy on our hands today." Twice a year.
