The Olentangy Orange Pioneers and the Crush Wrestling Club is hosting Mike Pucillo this Monday from 7:00-8:30 PM. He will focus on his short offense, primarily the front headlock work. Anyone who has watched Iron Mike understands that this takedown is automatic and a great addition to any high school arsenal.

It is free for all club members and $15 to anyone not enrolled in the club.

The wrestling room is located on the Mezzanine, enter through the athletic wing doors.

Come ready to work. Live wrestling will take place at 8:30, technique for 1 1/2 hours.

Usual club attendance is just under 30 kids, with wrestlers of all sizes.

Contact Coach Nicola at [email protected] with any questions.

Guys could go to both Orange and OHS for Mike P and get a double dose. Repetition, repetition, repetition.

No ulterior motives here, just a stud National Champ spending some time up in the LC.

For those of you heading to this tonight, try to get over to see Rex Holman at Big Walnut on Wednesday. That is, unless, Orange Crush runs on Wednesday night, of course.

However, opportunities abound for all of those/us in Columbus! Let's make the most of it!

OK, I'm a well known Ohio State hater, but Mike Pucillo makes it pretty hard. He was excellent at last night's clinic. The stuff he showed was textbook, but there were a few things here and there that he does a little different that I took away from it and will definately use moving forward. Things that I've been doing and teaching for years that have been very effective, his method is just better and will be more effective. He also has a down-to-earth conversational style and a comfort level while teaching that many great wrestlers his age lack.

All in all, a great night of wrestling. If you missed it at Orange, and you still have a chance to get in up at Olentangy tomorrow, I would highly recomend it. You'll be a better wrestler for it.

Great to read, bitter! I've been waiting to get on here and was hoping something was posted about it! Can't wait for tomorrow night.
