Double kiss of death for Josh Allen & Tua. Bills sign Chase Claypool while the Fins ink OBJ to 1 year deals. Woof.

Only pick the Browns had that I was pretty pleased with was the guard from Michigan.
Wasn't really invested in this years draft as a) the Browns (again) didn't have a 1st rounder and b) outside of LB and maybe RB, the roster really didn't have any holes to fill. One could argue WR but I think they will address that next year. The guys they drafted this year likely won't see the field in 2024 and are more "futures."

posted by HereticAnd Love was younger than 24. And the Packer GM wasn't stupid enough to "justify" the pick by saying that it's actually a good thing if he's on the bench for 4-5 years because that means they have an abundance of riches at the QB position.
Like, PROTIP dude...if your early first round draft pick is riding the pine 4-5 years in at the age of 29, odds are you'll be unemployed unless you have the magic combination that Minnesota didn't possess that magically turns Cousins from FANTASY NUMBERS, DOOD! into an actual consistent winner.
Other than the fact that the Falcons just signed him, should Cousins really be surprised they did this? He's not exactly a spring chicken.
First he throws beer at a fan and now this? Sensitive much?

Meanwhile your star QB you just signed a couple months ago is completely blindsided by all of this so that’s great work.

The old Browns never cease to amaze me. On his podcast, Gregg Williams tells a story that up until 2 hours before the draft the front office was fighting over whether to take Myles Garrett or Mitch Trubisky, with the consensus wanting Trubisky. Sounds like there were some "threats" thrown around that swayed the momentum to Myles. JFC....of all of the all-time "no brainer" picks that would've been the ultimate botch.

posted by justincredibleSpeaking of Denver, their new uniforms are butt. They coulda went the Jets route and went with the throwback full time but, for whatever reason, didn't.
Shitty uniforms = kiss of death. Browns went to those shit sack uni's back around 2015-2017 and had an 0-16 season. Thanks Hue!

Yesterday was the first game I've watched in a long time. Nice AB by Naylor when he hit the 3 run double.
Jets traded Zach Wilson and a 7th rounder to Denver for a 6th. Jets will also pay part of Wilson's salary.

Dill pickles and spicy pickles, YES! Sweet/bread & butter, or any sweet relish, nasty.
As far as mayo goes, I'm likely in the minority regarding that condiment but can't stand mayo, love Miracle Whip.
I love dill pickles.

Almost to the point where it can feel at times that it's easier to get one of those approved than it would be to get an original idea through.
For example, the original Halloween was great. We didn't need two directors inferior in every way to John Carpenter to try their hand at re-doing it, with all sorts of extra exposition as to why Michael Myers acted like he did.
Let me add that Rob Zombie should've never touched the Halloween franchise. Those movies were BRUTAL.
Not sure if considered "pop culture" or more of an "old man get off my lawn" take but the fact that most under 25 can't hold an intelligent conversation unless it involves their phone.

Not that we'll likely ever know but was thinking last night if there might have been a death bed confession to his family but, with his ego, I doubt it.

posted by j_crazyi think houston is leary of diggs. i see this morning where they are letting him test free agency after next year. so if he's the same sideline headcase that he was in buffalo (and minnesota for that matter) i would imagine he's a cowboy after this upcoming season.
I would be. Josh Allen and crew had to pass his petulant "give me the ball" cries off for "competitive fire." Dude wants the ball thrown to him EVERY down. He's not going to get that with how stacked the Texans weapons are.
