Lol, potential HOFer if he didn’t. I know he was 4th in MVP in 94, and assuming this player had a great year as well in 94 to have his most HRs. Bagwell? Alou?

Matt Williams seems like a good candidate here. He wasn’t a huge HR hitter and topped 40 once, maybe in 1994?

Yep....was pacing for 62, never hit over 38 in any other season.

Frank Thomas won MVP in AL and he was looking for a historic season as well. OPS 1.215 or something like that
