I would pick Wentz if not for the injury concerns. I legit thought Wentz was the best QB in the NFL pre-injury. After that, he’s looked okay but not great.

Give me baker in that poll.

Where would you rank Watson since you are the highest on him here and thought we shouldn't have traded with Houston?

Personally, I would take Baker/Ward over picking Watson last year.

I would take baker and ward over Watson, too. But I also would have been thrilled with Watson and know that if we had Watson this year on his second season, we’d be a playoff team this year. So I wouldn’t QQ about having him. But yeah, would much rather have ward and baker. I’d have Watson as probably top 12 maybe top 14 QB.

The Browns aren't making the playoffs with Watson and Hue coaching for the first half of the season.

If Hue wasn’t the coach, the browns are making the playoffs this year with Watson at QB. That’s for damn sure.

If Hue wasn’t coach, might be making them with Baker.

I would put more money on them making it with Baker than with Watson.

I’m not really disagreeing. I just know that Watson would have the browns in the playoffs (assuming Hue was canned) during his sophomore season. And because of that, I’d be 100% happy with the pick.

But like I said, I’m also happy with Baker.

But with Watson last year does he lead the Browns to maybe 3-4 wins and not making Hue as hideous?

Anyways Baker and Watson are both good ones

Your last line is basically what I’m getting at. I’m simply pointing out that Watson is a good QB and we’d all be very happy with him if we drafted him (despite a lot on here still not being sold on him).

Ok, enough with ITT we jerk off a QB that doesn't play for the browns.

I think Browns get a W in Denver Saturday. Don't see any weapons on Denver outside of Lindsay and think Myles can deal with Case just fine.

Browns win big.

Wow that’s really positive. Tough place to win

Long as Baker stays healthy, hard to lose with a top 10 QB.

1-5 on the road has to be a little bit of a factor

Won’t blow them out but I definitely feel good about our chances. Feel like Baker will be someone who will thrive in prime time games.

I just hope they come out loose and aren't thinking "oh shit, we have a shot at the playoffs." Play loose and let things play out.

Was asked if there was huge concern with Ward being out and I said "no." I don't see Keenum or Denver's WR's doing a ton of damage. If they have a decent TE, that could expose them. Keeping Lindsay in check and giving BM adequate time to throw will be the key. Denver's secondary can be gashed. Also hope the altitude isn't a factor for the Browns.

Pretty pumped, the new Mayfield Color Rush jersey will be arriving just in time for the game. Got a damn good deal ($38) on it.

I like COA's confidence, but I am nowhere near ready to proclaim Baker a top 10 QB in the NFL.  I actually agree with COA's breakdown for the most part.  I think the Browns are the better team, but Denver is a very tough place to play.  If this were in Cleveland I would confidently say the Browns win, but I think this is a tossup.

Also, did you all know the Browns last win vs the Broncos was in 1990 smfh?  I was 3 years old.  A good portion of us on this thread have never been old enough to see the Brown beat the Broncos.

My friend is having a party at his house this Saturday that I’ve been RSVP’d to for a while. Just found out he doesn’t have the nfl network. I will now be at a bar.

He will be a top 10 QB next year. I don't think Baker has a lot to work on. He's actually played like a seasoned vet. He makes a mistake, he learns from it and doesn't make it again. Can he be better in some areas? Sure, but his accuracy, which was a strength in college, is getting better & better each game. He's making a "meh" receiving corps look much better than they are.

His biggest area he needs to recognize is when the opposing defense takes away the shorter routes (see Texans game, Romeo scouted Baker well) and cuts in front of the receiver. I think he's already realized that.

He doesn't have the "deer in headlights" look that these other rookie QB's do.

I also previously mentioned the 1990 winless drought against the Donks but it doesn't look like you've been posting a ton lately.

Lindsay worries me, as the Browns are putrid at covering RBs & TEs in coverage. However, we kept a better RB (McCaffrey) in check last week, so I'm hopeful. Denver's defense is no joke though, Baker will have his hands full for sure.

BTW, guess who their backup QB is? Kevin fucking Hogan.
