What I don’t understand is why we couldn’t let the previous kick play out? If it was offsides, why weren’t we allowed to decline the offsides or take it on the kickoff?

Sad part is that he made the first but they had to re-kick due to the dead ball foul.

The announcer explained why—some bullshit about it being a ‘pre-snap’ violation?

So we have to use reverse psychology on Joseph and say "it's just like a field goal, dude."

I think it should have been encroachment and not offsides. But this crew is garbage so they called the wrong penalty. 

Uggh...that missed XP leaves the Panthers in position for a 1 point win. C'mon defense.
