Why do you have kids?
Why did you make children?
Falling asleep standing up on the corner
With cigarette ash falling in the stroller
Why do you have kids?
Why did you make children?
You gave all baby daddys money for food
To the dead eyed street pharmaceutical dude
Accidents having accidents
Now mother like daughter
Father like son
R.I.P. next generation
Goodnight, honey
You’ve got nothing to look up or forward to
Why do you have kids?
Why did you make children?
You beat your son at the grocery store
Because he cried a little when his eyes were sore
Why?
Baby runs around shoeless outside
While mama’s dressed to the junkyard nines
Feed them garbage so they stop crying
They’ll look just like you in no time
I lie to their faces, they're so naive.
They have this need for make-believe.
That somebody loves them, would never do them wrong.
That's what they'll buy in them old love songs.
Satan put it on my tab. Someday soon it'll be my time.
If I don't pay it, though nevermind.
I guess that I was just born to be bad.
Satan put it on my tab.
Don't believe that the system is failing, don't believe that the planet is dead.
They'll keep all the food for their fat fucking bellies, so the starving will kill to be fed.
And they'll try to turn me against you, so divided we'll turn to them.
Because anything strong cannot be conquered from without before first being conquered from within.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the Saints.
The Sinners are much more fun.

Oh, I noticed right away. It just became too much for me not to say anything. :-)
Not a particularly great lyric, but from a great song. But I have an interesting (to me, at least) story about it.

Shippin' out of Fond du Lac
I was listening to this album on my roadtrip to Minnesota last summer as I was driving through Wisconsin. I had google maps feeding me directions and there was an exit for Fond du Lac coming up. The song and gps voice lined up perfectly on "Fond du Lac." I saw the name on the sign and, based on where the song was, knew it was a possibility. That was a nice little energy boost for the drive.
You said I wouldn't get too far with a tank of gas and an empty heart , but I got everything I'll ever need

Heard that live many a time
Substitution, mass confusion
Clouds inside your head
Were fogging all my energies
Until you visited
With your eyes of porcelain and of blue
Could shock me into sense
You think you're so illustrious
You call yourself intense

I heard you die twice, once when they bury you in the grave
And the second time is the last time that somebody mentions your name
