If I click Latest Post in chrome (on a computer, either mac or windows, not mobile) it takes me to the latest post I haven't viewed. Sometimes that might be the top post on a page, but it always puts me at the latest post I've viewed.

I just tested it in Firefox and it did not take me to the latest post.

Basically, everyone buy a mac and use chrome. Problem solved for me.

This is the absolute bane of my existence, dealing with browser issues like this. It's frustrating that they can't all render exactly the same, even chrome on windows vs chrome on mac has a bug with the search bar. It matches my vision perfectly on mac, but is wonky as shit on windows. At least when I'm doing it at work I'm getting paid. Y'all are charity cases.

All this to say, please be patient with me. I'll fix issues as I can.

Sorry for the hiccup. Had an issue with caching that took a few minutes to solve.

Funny (maybe) story. We were trying to fix a bug in IE6 a few years ago for what amounted to like 3 or 4 of our clients (schools). We joked it would actually be cheaper to buy and send them newer computers so they could run a modern browser.

Looks like the timezone issue might have taken care of itself. I see some threads showing up as being posted hours from now, while the thread I just posted had the correct timestamp on it. This is just a heads up that thread ordering might be weird for a little bit as new posts are made.

Restarting the server at 4:30. Just an FYI that the site will be down for a few minutes.

While there is currently an issue with the Latest Post button not working due to the fact some posts are technically from the future (see QO's GoFundMe post above vs the post below it), I have finally figured out a solution for getting it to scroll to the actual latest post you viewed on all browsers, including mobile safari, and it was easy and stupid and I can't believe how long that was an issue without me thinking of this.

Just know that you're going to see issues with that button until at least 7pm tonight. I'm not going to look at it further until then, if it's still an issue after that I'll dig deeper, but I'm almost 100% sure it's going to fix itself if I'm reading the code right.

Latest post has started working for me on safari on iPhone, which is the best upgrade yet. Good work.

Forgot about adding that feature since I don't use subscribed threads. I'll add it when I get a chance, it shouldn't be difficult.

It's cool, easy to miss stuff posted in the middle of the thread. If I could edit posts I would keep a running list of known bugs on the original post but some dumbass didn't add that capability yet.

Push an update to give you an unsubscribe button, ernest. It's at the bottom next to the submit post button. I wanted to tuck it away, I always hated it floating up at the top on the old site.

Also pushed an update so you can quote the OP (S&L uncovered that) and when you post it will now scroll you down the page to your post instead of dropping you at the top. Shit's starting to get pretty tightened up as of now. Still a few small things to do, but the overall experience should be miles ahead of the old site.

Please paypal me some bitcoin when you get a chance.

Also, for those that like to post tweets, you can now embed that shit.

On twitter, from the V menu on the tweet, select Embed Tweet. That'll put you on a page with a copy code button. Click the button to copy the embed code.

On here, click the <> button in the post menubar. Paste. Click the button again and you should see the tweet embedded.

Saw someone post that tweet with a caption “when you have to take a huge shit, but just one turd comes out”

That won the Internet for the day

Turns out it's easier to embed a tweet. Just paste the link. It won't look like much until you submit, but it will render once your post goes through.

That's weird, it's cutting off.
