They just ran a promo to allow all current members to refer one member for no initiation fee so my brother-in-law referred us. The initiation fee ($3k) was my only hangup in joining so I jumped at the opportunity.

I can understand that. But it's a nice course, close to our house, and given how booked up courses around here get having easy access is a pretty big bonus.
What course did you join if you don't mind me asking?
