Scary part is, it only takes one guy to fire a shot at him and then he unloads on the crowd with his AK-47.  That's going to happen, somewhere, at some point.

And it's a pretty reckless move to confront them with guns, because you don't know if some idiot is going to shoot at you.  I would have left the gun just inside the door an arm's length away.   What are you going to do, anyway, if someone does shoot at your or throws something?  You've got no cover.

Agreed. I would have probably done the same. Just being out like that does nothing but escalate the situation.

From what I understand the gate was private property as that was a private road. As soon as they broke through the gate and was on the road they were trespassing. 

This house was basically the first house past the gate, meaning the gate was broken through and this house was the first one on the private road. I also understand they were not just on the private road, which was still trespassing, but they were also on these people's lawn.

All fair. Still, showing off the rifle seems like it is pretty serious escalation.

To be fair, in the post you quoted, Spock isn't wrong. There have been a ton of looting, rioting, etc in the last few weeks.

There has been in some cities, like last week in Madison or parts or LA. But, for the vast majority of days, cities and areas are not being looted and there not not roams of gangs rioting each night.

Do I have to say it again? I NEVER said the inbreds don’t have their rights to stand outside with guns. There’s no issue there at all. The issue is the woman walking up closer to the protestors and waiving the gun in their faces with her finger on the trigger. You guys all agreed that she shouldn’t have done that. Lol because I said the protestors didn’t barrel through a fucking gate, that all of a sudden means I’m against property rights, hate guns, don’t know the difference between an assault rifle and semi automatic blah blah blah.

A mob was illegally breaking into the neiman  marcus by my apartment. I ordered takeout and walked right past them, twice. It’s crazy, I wasn’t carrying any Uzi’s or anything and I survived, crazy!!

Actually not even a thing.  A gun hijacked by a word about 30 years ago for the purpose of making a semi auto gun seem like a weapon of mass destruction.  

That AR is no different then my 14 shot .22cal squirrel rifle.
