Another groundbreaking announcement yesterday from Apple.

I'm due for an upgrade, so I'll be getting the 13 Pro. Now go for the Max or not? I'm usually against huge phones, but thinking I may go for it.

New watch doesn't spark my interest. I'm still on a stainless 5, so I'll keep rocking that for the time being.

128gb standard storage is NICE though. About fucking time.

THOUGHTS?!

I'm eyeing a new watch, and disappointed that Apple didn't say much about the features.  Not that I'm sure how well it would work with Android, and I'm not a fan of square watches.

The Galaxy Watch 4 interest me, but I'm waiting on reviews to see if the features actually deliver instead of being unreliable gimmicks.

I may consider the Fossil 6, but it hasn't been released yet so no reviews.  Google/Fitbit are supposedly releasing the long fabled Pixel Watch, so fingers crossed for that one.

On a related note, phones just keep getting bigger and bigger.  Maybe I'll find a foldable that appeals to me one day, but even mid-tier phones are all getting screens over 6".  Really hard to believe there's no market demand for smaller phones.

If increasing battery life was a focus for the new Apple Watch, I'd be intrigued, but it's not...so fuck it. Apple watch with an Android would not work. My friend has the latest gen Galaxy watch, it's solid.

Max or not though?

Probably going to need to buy a new phone in the next couple months. I currently have an iPhone 11 that work pays for. Might just go for the cheapest 13 Mini and call it a day.

Well, damn if the Mini isn't almost exactly the size phone I want.  Still don't understand why no one on Android does that, Samsung came close with the S10e (which is what I have), but it's length & width are still significantly larger than the Mini.

Never thought I'd switch from Android, but now that IOS has widgets and good automation apps....Except not sure I'd have the patience to switch platforms and figure out how to replicate everything I like my phone to do.

That's a huge fail.  On the opposite side of the coin, if you take advantage of all the Galaxy Watch features you only get about 22 hours (because it takes 2-2.5 hours to charge to full).

Like I said, I'm waiting to see if the long-rumored Pixel watch is unveiled in about a month.  Not a very compelling reason for me to upgrade from the Galaxy Watch 3, other than it no longer does a good job tracking my heart rate during exercise.

I have already pre-pre-ordered the 13 Pro max.

I have an IPhone XR and it’s trash. Might have to pick up the 13, but it’s nice having such a low payment right now.

I’ve got the 12 pro max and like the size. Still fits fine in my pocket.

The 12 mini is slick. I still have a soft spot for the 5SE. I really loved that phone, battery life was the best ever.

The 13 seems pretty underwhelming.

I haven't look at anything other than price and size. I haven't paid attention since I got the 11, so I don't even know what the 12 had that mine doesn't.

I also have the stainless 5, but i stepped on it last month and broke the face.  275 dollar repair to replace the face, so now i am in the market for a new watch.  it still works for now but it just looks like crap.

New rumor Samsung will have an S22 mini smaller than the IPhone (but it's unclear which version of IPhone they mean).

Although, it's supposedly their smallest [flagship] phone ever.  "Flagship" might be key, because the smaller s10e I have isn't technically a flagship.

But if it comes in the range of the 13 mini, I might be interested.  Except I do miss root, because there are more and more features that just don't work the way I'd like and need some tweaking.
