What date will DeWine lift the mask mandate and what # state will Ohio be in lifting it?
I’m going May 10th and we’ll be the 41st state to lift the mask mandate.
Whatever anyone guesses, I’ll take the over.
I stated 37th on the other thread, here is my rationale
No way the following states would be before Ohio:
New York
California
Illinois
Michigan
Oregon
Maryland
All of NE (Mass, Conn, Vt, NH, RI, Maine)
So would just need Minnesota, Virginia, Washington, or New Jersey to not pull the trigger

I say MD before VA as MD has a Republican governor and lower case numbers. Ohio and MD have been pretty close on policies.
For OH: I say right before Memorial Day.

My prediction would be June 1 or after Memorial Day. Schools are still in session. Once “summer” hits, he will have to because people will not follow it anyway

Well, if schools are getting lax enough in their policies that dodgeball teachers are allowed to make the decision whether they need to follow them or not, I'd say we're about done with mask requirements by now.

Mask mandate here in Alabama has been over for a couple of weeks. I'm seeing less and less of them with several restaurants and stores not requiring them. Probably less than half of the usage from before the mandate was dropped.
