It’s Beer Thirty Everybody.....What’re Ya Drinking?

Amazing definitely on my beer bucket list. We will have to meet sometime at Hoof maybe the anniversary party to talk beer.

Grabbing a quick bite and a flight at Zaftig Brew Pub. The marzen is great. Got some ipas on deck.

Justin did you see the beer festival they (Dankhouse) are planning. They have some really good breweries from across Ohio planning to be there. Crooked Pecker is exceptional. 

It’s the first weekend I will be back in Ohio so unfortunately I think I will miss it. :(

I did see that. I saw they had a Crooked Pecker on tap but I had never heard of them. We will hopefully go on Saturday.

Their NEIPAs are some of the best in ohio

Switching to liquor for a second, we'll be in Lebanon, KY this coming week. There's a distillery there called Limestone Branch. Is this a name that's known to people who drink more hard liquor than we do (basically none)? Worth a few hours for tour/tasting?

The bourbon is average but I’ve heard amazing things about the tour. Everyone seems to say it’s one of the best tours on the bourbon trail.

I agree.

The first one I grabbed was the 2X and I’m like….mmm….not just yet.  Tried the others first.

I like IPAs as much as the next but that box is a little much for me. I’d like to try the Fresh Hop Freddy though.
