queencitybuckeye: I’ve had Jai Alai, too, and I agree with your assessment.

to me it’s just ight
Yeah, it’s okay.
posted by justincredibleWon’t be able to make it to that area, but we have a brewdog in Cincy.
The Combustion hazy ipa is really good.
If you ever get back check out the Brewdog there it’s sheer size is crazy. The fest they have for shareholders every year is also a top 3 beer festival in Ohio every year and they usually have 1-2 fun bands to see
Dankhouse has a rhubarb pie sour on tap. Incredible.

Dankhouse never disappoints. The best in Licking County by a mile.
posted by sportchamppsAre they still having the festival? If so RIP to your liver
No festival this year. The 3 Floyd's taproom still hasn't reopened yet. We just did a curbside pickup. Picked up a 2020 Dark Lord, 2021 Dark Lord, 2020 Dark Lord Varient. (Dark Lord aged in Scotch barrels) and a sour 5-pack. Then we went up to 18th Street Brewing about 15 minutes up the road. I have had a bunch of their stuff in cans. Really good stuff.

I was at Cigar City Brewing a couple of months ago ..... I've had the Jai Alai previously, but opted for something else that day which was very good , but of course I can't remember which one.
I was finally able to find some Columbus Brewing Company Yakima Fresh and it didn’t disappoint.
Picked this up at Sam’s Club today.
The Mathlete is surprisingly good for a less calorie and alcohol IPA.
Never had the Vision before. It’s pretty good.
Truth and Knowledge never disappoint.
So I was at the grocery store and in kind of a hurry. I did the “make your own six pack”. When I got home, I found that I had grabbed a beer called Double Cannon from Heavy Seas out of Baltimore. Anyone heard of this?
Tasted great and 9.5%.
Nice haul broski. Those heavy ABV beers aren’t usually included in the make your own packs. Enjoy.
A friend sent this along with some other odds and ends. Anyone had it?

Thanks. Is this something that would get better with age? Is there any trick to aging beers other than stick it in the fridge and leave it alone? I like what I think to be good beers but am very much a novice.
It's a Manhattan night.
