I live in SC. I’m just not afraid. I respect the virus and wash the shit out of my hands, but there is no reason to close boat ramps and beaches and parks where people are nowhere near other people. It’s ridiculous, like the dumbass governor in Michigan banning buying seeds for your garden.

I agree with this I’ve been golfing my ass off and riding 2 to a cart lol. If I ride to the course with you I’m also riding in the cart

Are courses letting you ride two to a cart? Our club is one per cart unless you live together. Played with two others today, one walked and two of us rode.

Cuomo is part of the reason NYC is so high. He was telling people to go about their normal lives and didn’t wanna close down NYC schools. Now BC people like how he talks he gets praised.

Several factors as to why it exploded here, one being one of travel hubs of the US. Banning China travel was great, but what about the connecting flights?

Hospitalizations and deaths are going down. That’s all I care about at this point.

NY has done way more testing than other cities/states.  Forget the exact numbers, but NYC has like 10X more cases than Chicago, but NYC has also done about 7-8X more tests than Chicago.  Obviously NYC has like 3X the population of Chicago, and much more dense, but Chicago would probably look a lot more like NYC if they were doing a similar amount of testing.

I think no one is to blame for being got off guard. Every politician in the world is in that boat. What I hate about Cuomo is that he spends so much time bitching at and about Trump. Quit make ng excuses and do your job. Quit carping with the president.

It's politics.  Everyone is pointing fingers and deflecting blame, but I don't know how much more could have been done.  You'd think in a crisis the media would have put aside partisanship and focus on being journalists and getting people good info, but nope.  I don't think they have it in them - bunch of Ron Burgundy's reading from the script.  Hydroxychloroquine is the perfect example - only good news from the right wing outlets, and only bad news from the left wing outlets.  It's unbelievable.  No regard for people's lives, only dedication to being right.

I'm reserving judgement to see how we re-open and manage this going forward.  It's basically the middle of the 1st inning.

They give u the option to ride alone. But I haven’t been questioned at least 4 times when we have rode together. I have rode alone 5 or 6 times with 4 people. I will say it’s definitely faster lol

Why would you choose to ride with someone? 

I skip through this thread so sorry if I’m repeating but saw where the news showing pictures of very busy beaches in Florida but then web cams of those beaches on twitter showed hardly anyone

Deceptive media, probably. 

Aren't the beaches only open a few hours of each day? Not suggesting that makes it  more wrong or right, but it might explain why they look deserted some times of the day but busy other times. 

1100 Sat and 1300 today but Marion Prison over 1800 inmates positive test.....wondering if the vast majority of the huge numbers jump is there.

It was around 360 for a week straight....next 4 days 600-700-1100-1300
