Putting aside the specter of bioterrorism for the moment, consider this hypothetical scenario: an important gain-of-function experiment involving a virus with serious pandemic potential is performed in a well-regulated, world-class laboratory by experienced investigators, but the information from the experiment is then used by another scientist who does not have the same training and facilities and is not subject to the same regulations. In an unlikely but conceivable turn of events, what if that scientist becomes infected with the virus, which leads to an outbreak and ultimately triggers a pandemic?

There was a reason the vaccines came out so fast.  These assholes had been messing with these for awhile and already had the viruses sequenced.

Anyone read through the FOIA Fauci emails yet? On twitter it's either the smoking gun to put him in prison or an absolute nothingburger. Because of course that was going to be the reaction.

It WAS sequenced pretty fast.  In hindsight, interesting how so many people commended China for the speed in sequencing the genome and sharing it.  And no suspicions they already had it sequenced, or started the process weeks earlier than they claimed to be aware of it because they tried to cover it all up until it was too late.

Conspiracy theorists (and Orange Man) look to be right, yet again.

It’s crazy how many people lived in fear or in a hole. It’s also absurd that there are still videos of people getting into altercations over masks. What Stone Age counties or states are still living with mask mandates. Losers.
