It's a wonderful time not to be poor!   But seriously, if you see that line you have to assume even Costco is going to run out of a lot of the necessities.  I doubt your 7/11's and Walgreens and specialty grocers had any issues....but then you pay a big premium.

Just got back from the store and it was almost perfect.  One person ahead of me in checkout, and got almost everything I needed.  Only thing they didn't have was TP and Purell.  Although I would say a lot of items were down to maybe 20-25% stock, assuming there's not a ton of goods in back on the docks.

The assumption is that the first test was probably a false positive (assuming he was tested multiple times in Japan, otherwise that could have been a false negative).

The US rejected testing kits that were being used because of the high incidence of false positive and false negatives.

West Virginia now has it first confirmed positive test. I’d expect that number to multiply rapidly now that they are apparently testing there too. 

The more concerning thing with the Nets players has to be 3 of them showed absolutely zero symptoms but tested positive.

No bit means that some stories have been reported. Those aren't scientific findings. Could be that someone screwed up a test. Could be the person had never recovered from the initial positive. This is definitely an anacdote

No I know. And certainly 1 teams 3/4 players isn’t a great sample. But we didn’t/don’t have an actual number of those infected without symptoms. 75% would be terrifyingly high.

I agree. It will be interesting to see if they just haven't shown symptoms yet or never do.

I haven't seen it but apparently there's a video on FB of a bunch of savages ripping the toilet paper out of the plastic wrapping, while still on the pallet, before the guy can stock it, at Walmart.
