The problem with travel is that 3 years from now....there will be parts of the world that will still have this virus as part of their society.  It isnt going away ever

There's this amazing new concept called a vaccine, of which there will be one in half that time at the outside.

Hard to think the NCAA tournaments happen next week then.

Good thing I have hobbies and shit, since everything I'd normally be hanging out with friends and watching pretty much got canceled over the last 24 hours. And by "hobbies and shit", I mean I'll be likely spending a ton of time with the PS4 in the near future.

If you've been tested and are waiting for results... why are you flying?

This has been going on for 5-10 years now.

I still think the "1000 person event" deal is kind of arbitrary.  I suppose people are a lot less likely to skip a live event, as opposed to going to a movie.

But restaurants, theaters, church, etc....lots of places you're in close contact with a few hundred people for an hour or two.

You have to have a cutoff at some point.

I thought that Netflix might be one of few stocks not to lose a lot of value this week, wrong

The other risk is that you are able to go, then you can't get back. I don't know how bad it will get, but wouldn't want to risk getting stuck in a third world country if things become really bad.

Exactly …….or be able to return but go straight to quarantine somewhere.

I would not be heading out of the country right now.

NCAA tournament officially canceled. Too bad. Was really looking forward to watching University of Dayton compete in it.

From the standpoint of being a sports fan, this might be the most depressing 24-hour stretch I've ever endured. One thing canceled after another once that dipshit Gobert darwin'd his way into being infected. Although a few dominoes had already fallen with the Ivy League canceling their conference tournament and all the "no fan" proposed games, seems everything immediately came crashing down when his contracting it was announced.

Really depressing as a sports fan. I’m literally at a loss for entertainment. But the right thing to do. They gotta contain this thing if possible.
