Just placed 13 bets. Lot of 1/5 unit on long shot ladders, 2/5 unit on Rory to be round leader. And Si Woo/Cantlay to win their 3-ball.

FYI- a ladder is you think someone is going to hit his over on a prop, so you hammer all the alt-line overs as well. For me, it was JT and Rory getting birdies. In SB I did Smith and Brown yards from 50 up to 100. 11/12 of those props hit, with brown missing 100 by 4 yards. I have ZERO data to back it up, but seems to me that when you have a strong lean a prop is wrong, hammer all the alts as well because of your rig that player isn’t gonna just go over, he’s usually going way over. Today, I clearly think Rory is going very low — and since I will watch JT in same group I just doubled the bets which likely will be a bunch of losers.

So you are doing the following:

Rory 4 Birdies -210

Rory 5 Birdies +125

Rory 6 Birdies +380

Etc.

And you are throwing in JT birdies too?

I started building out this ladder for Rory and jumped in the shower before submitting it. By the time I got out and got ready the bets were gone. I was going to do:

4+ $50

5+ $20

6+ $5

7+ $5

We'll see how much I missed out on.

Sorry missed this. Yes. I did that for Rory, 4/5/6/7. Then because I am degenerate, did the same for JT. He’s gotta get going here…

Rory oooks dialed in.

My missed cut bet is going to lose with Hideki. All of my other bets are still alive.

Heading to West Lafayette today for Purdue/OSU.

Teasing Purdue -6 and UNC +7.5 (at NC State) at +100 today.

Golf side of things, hoping Woodland plays out of his mind today and Rahm comes back to earth.

Let it ride or cash out? I’m not confident Scheffler will climb to the top 5 but it’s also only $2.

Let that ride. And monitor cause if Scottie goes out in like 32 (-3), that cash out option will be much higher.

I had Max Homa and Rahm to win. It’s on my wife’s account using her free bets so I gave her the choice to cash out Ramn for $50 instead of 75 basically and to cheer for Homa today. I also used a freebet on Tiger top 20.

Also went with Purdue -11.5

NC Moneyline

Is it worth betting on the Honda Classic? It's certainly not worth watching, imo. This is the top of the field in OWGR.

The downside of the elevated events. Honda also got the worst spot on the calendar after WMO and Genesis coupled with being the hardest course these guys typically play all season.

I enjoy betting it, because I can take a shot at long shots, and because the course is tough, with lots of water, and no one sticks out at the top, I’ll sprinkle a bit. But won’t be too much as I will be on vacation in Arizona and not watching any of it.

Cashed with Willett and Fowler T 20, lost a few other golf bets.  Cashed with NJ covering puck line, and Northwestern on the moneyline; lost Oregon  moneyline.  Need to hit a big one soon.

FanDuel had a bet for both the Senators and Bruins to score a goal in the 1st at +166. I put $3 on it because why not and it hit with :30 left in the 1st.

Jumped on the Bruins puck line with about 14 minutes left and they came through  with another goal to win 3-1.  Presidents Day special :)

Working thru my analysis of the golf this weekend and trying to put together a top 20 parlay/round robin bet.

The names I'm currently liking:

McCarthy +160 (T3 at Honda in 2021 and T14 last week)

Svensson +220 (T9 last week and last year at Honda)

Matthias Schwab +600 (T7 last year, my long shot high odds guy)

On the bubble:

Hodges +260 (T18 last week but missed the previous 5 cuts, T9 last year at Honda)

Noren +125 (missed last two cuts but was T5 last year at Honda)

Im is -150 to make the top 20 and missed the cut last year, but was T8 and 1 the previous two years.

Lowry is even odds to make the top 20 and finished 2 last year.

Any other names I'm missing?

Also considering Zach Johnson and Villegas.

Seeing this a lot:

Favorites: Horschel, Svensson, Buckley, Willett, Wise, McCarthy, and Kirk.

Long shots with Bramlett, Gordon, and Kim.

Haven't seen much Schwab talk. Noren withdrew I'm pretty sure. Not great value in my opinion this week with Sungjae.
