Cleveland Cavalier 2017-2018 Season

Sat, Dec 2, 2017 8:10 AM

Might as well pop this back up.  Cavs try to extend their streak tonight against Memphis.  Going along with the pettiness theme, Lebron/Wade were not happy about Memphis firing Fizdale.  Hopefully they take it out on them.

I think they pick up a bad loss tonight

LeBron on a mission early on this season.

Not sure you can yet but Justin has a list of smaller things like that he’ll be getting to after he finishes his bottle of celebratory scotch

Thanks. This would be my #1 request.

National perspective: "Cavs making hay and feasting on poor competition (not necessarily playing great ball) to go on a 12 game winning streak."

"Meanwhile, the Celtic are a juggernaut and the team to beat in the East."

After cousins and KD got into it last night can we please make a trade for him. I love a guy that hates the warriors

I need to see that replay. With Curry having ankle issues and KD getting tossed every 5 games, least it's an interesting season.

That's why, to me, it's not a foregone conclusion that those guys will repeat. Seems like too much injury history on that roster.

Apparently cousins went after KD as he was leaving the arena. Trade for this man right now

I wouldn’t really want to mess with any of them....but really really wouldn’t want Cousins coming after me.

This could be our let down game, but would be nice to get 13 straight.

Not going to predict anything or "jinx" it but it's possible they could win out before the Christmas Day showdown with the Warriors. That would put the streak at, I think ,21 with the Wizards, Sixers and Bucks being the biggest obstacles. Doubtful they get there but they are playing some pretty good defense and seem to be locked in.

Defensive intensity has picked up and the second unit has been a major improvement over last year. They might have the best second unit in the NBA.

    LeBron still good

Never thought of that, but I think you’re right.

If LBJ can continue to dial it in from long range, he's going to be extra dangerous to the Warriors. I think they hope that he'll take that shot.

TT & IT also participated in 4 on 4 drills yesterday. Sounds like TT should be back shortly.

For those who missed it..LBJ now with 35 missed triple doubles by one rebound or assist!!

    from twitter. Pretty crazy

This game tonight could also trip them up. For some reason, they don't seem to do well against the Pacers, at their place.

Jalen Rose was just talking about Paul George possibly being moved somewhere this year since it’s not really working too well in okc.

Not sure it’s even possible for him to land in Cleveland, but if it is, would you guys want us to make that move? Or just keep the team as is?

They've been discussing this quite a bit on the local stations too.

At this point, I'm not as in love with that pick that the Cavs got from Brooklyn. It's looking like it has a chance of not even being a lottery pick and the Nets no longer have a reason to tank. If they can get George at a reasonable price, I'd have no issue with it.
