US track and field nationals this weekend and almost no coverage. Jesus its a national championship and someone can't get it on ?

I do my best to not be unreasonable. Mistakes happen. They don't make you incompetent. They don't mean you need fired. They don't give me carte blanche to yell and scream at you. Frankly, I don't even usually get upset at a mistake. Everyone who makes a mistake in their job should have the opportunity to correct it, and if they do, all is well.
But if you don't fix it ... multiple times ... I get agitated.
That brings me to what's pissing me off today. Found out we have to get $1,100 of work on our somewhat newly purchased used van. We've had it like a month and a half, caught the dealership on several things they said they'd done but hadn't, and it's been an absurdly ridiculous experience. And this was all BEFORE what we found out this morning.
If you live anywhere near Akron, don't ever go to North Coast Auto Mall. I'm not a complainer, and I don't even think I've ever publicly called out a brand or business to stay away from before, but I will with these guys. There were no fewer than six changes to get things taken care of, and if we hadn't already gone through the rigmarole of setting up the auto loan and gotten a verbal agreement to buy the old vehicle, I would have raised hell to undo the whole thing.
Getting old. That is what is outraging me today.
"Injured" my back last week from a nasty COUGH. A freaking cough. Stopped me for a few days out cold.

Did anyone see, on Twitter, the writer who is asking people to stop wearing red baseball caps because it is scary?

Is anyone else made really uncomfortable these days by anyone wearing any kind of red baseball cap? Like, I see one and my heart does weird shit and then I finally realize it only says Titleist or whatever. Maybe don't wear red caps anymore, normal people?
Also, for the love of God: The clever folks wearing "Make America Read Again" or whatever caps -- NO. You're making everyone scared. Don't do it.

In her defense, a grown man like gblock who is "impartial," "moderate," and "sees both sides" is also petrified of red hats.
Yea who would ever have the audacity to think racists wear those hats. My bad

Hitler owned a dog, so I suppose all dog owners are Nazis. That makes you a Nazi. I am just going by your logic.

Hitler owned a German Shepard breed, to be exact!

You're just trolling now. Fucking triggered over a hat.

Actually like that was triggered, not me. I could care less
I have a red hat. It's from my years playing college baseball.
I will continue to wear it.
In her defense, it does have a weapon on it. We were the Lancers, and it has a jouster holding a lance. Maybe that's too violent for her, and it's triggering to her.
If Trump comes out with BLUE "Make America Great Again" hats he'll confuse the hell out of a lot of people.

I'm torn. On one hand, the fact that this would result in massive news coverage would be as absurd as the "tan suit scandal." That's depressing.
But it would also be entertaining, in a nihilistic, semi-masochistic sort of way.

How much less?
One of the passing "things" over the last few years was the downturn in NFL attendance due to he public's disgust with the kneeling players. Guess what? Dropping attendance is a problem for all major sports including college football. OH MY GOD, a situation that is actually more nuanced and has NOTHING to do with politics. How do we fit that into our collective view that the universe breaks into facts caused by American conservative politicians and American liberal politicians????

Door-to-door energy sales people asking to see your bill and telling you that your current utility company sent them out.
That can't still work, can it? Their actual return has to be terrible per house. It feels like a 419 scam; everyone has to see it coming by now.
