  • FISA court slams FBI over surveillance applications, in rare public order

In a rare public order Tuesday, the chief judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court strongly criticized the FBI over its surveillance-application process, giving the bureau until Jan. 10 to come up with solutions, in the wake of findings from Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz.

Is "giving them until January 10 to come up with solutions" the much heralded dropping of the shoe you've been anticipating for 3 years?

I still think Comey might be sweating a bit.  He's gone from a full-court, Trump-like blitz of "I did nothing wrong...completely exonerated" to the Sgt. Schultz defense.  Running around apologizing and basically implying he was incompetent (which, I think a lot of people kind of already knew).

Well I saw in his interview he invoked the term "sloppy".  That raised my antenna.  I remember former NSA Sandy Berger saying he was "sloppy" when he stuffed classified documents down his pants and smuggled them out of the national archives.  Hillary was just "sloppy" with her emails.

Look the average American knows if they enter a local hardware store and stuff merchandise down their pants "sloppy" will not fly.  These elitists are treated differently.

Comey was not incompetent.  He was calculated. He got caught now he is just an incompetent individual who led other incompetant individuals.

I don't disagree, just that his story keeps changing and I think he's been running a PR campaign because he anticipates charges.

He initially claimed the IG report "exonerated" him.  So he must have been basing that off your typical left-wing hacks in the media spinning the story ahead of its release.  And then he either didn't read it, or he assumed the media narrative would hold-up.  Then Horowitz testified and blew-up that narrative, and now we see people like Schiff and Comey claiming ignorance went most objective people know there were straight-up lying.

Also, LOL at Comey pretending like the FISA process is a high bar and very difficult.  I think they've denied a few dozen applications - out of over 30,000 - since the process was established.  I'm not sure if Horowitz covered this or not, but there's also some question if they didn't manipulate things to make this a FISA case, because they can't do half the crap they did through normal channels.

Don't worry, when Jan. 10 rolls by and he still doesn't have all the heads on platters that he needs, he'll move on to some other future date for when it all comes to fruition. Other than regularly posting cherry-picked links to give his "MAGA!" or "We have elected the enemy" comments, that's really all he has.

He's not even paying attention to his sources - Durham is not supposed to be done for at least a few months.

And, oh boy, I'm starting to think Comey has a "go bag" packed.  A couple comments [paraphrased] from Barr:

1) "I don't think sloppiness or gross negligence [THAT is an interesting choice of words] can explain it all.  I think there was misconduct."

2) On Comey being "7 layers removed from that process".  "No.  He would have been - and was - very involved.  Part of the problem was that investigation wasn't being run 7 layers deep, it was compartmentalized at the top".

3) "I certainly have questions of how and when, after there was clearly not Russian collusion, the investigation continued and expanded"

Like those doomsday cults that set a date for the end of the world only to push it back when said date arrives and nothing happens.

I am predicting right now that there are going to be some bodies soon.  The Clintons house is pretty dirty and needs cleaned.

Has the tin foil hat crowd ever tried to reflect on how brilliant the Clintons would have to be to pull off all of these murders?
