Supposedly, although we really have no idea who the targets are.  Although this is why Dems have been trying to discredit Bill Barr all along.  And I have a feeling the "impeachment inquiry" is also being conducted to strategically leak to counterbalance what comes out in the IG report.

It's all a shitshow.  Trump made people lose their minds and get sloppy at covering up their corruption.  Of course, he's his own shitshow and making a lot of Republicans backing him look equally bad.

That was a fun read. I find these Deep State conspiracy theories hilarious. Were they around during the Bush years, or are they just an Obama thing? Going after Cofer Black is just funny as he was a target for liberals during the Bush years. So, hey I guess Quaker has something in common with liberals now. I feel like the Trump diehards have just purged their support for George W. Bush from their memory banks. 

I love how the author also calls Obama a Muslim, which newsflash, he is not.

The "uncovering" of the conspiracy is always about to happen "shortly" with you, but it never  finally comes to pass. Maybe your posts are being monitored by Deep State and they're then preventing "justice"?

Going from this thread alone, apparently all those legal JUSTICE FINDERS have been thisclose to bringing down the Democratic party for 23 months straight...without it actually happening. Which makes me think that QQ wakes up every day, checks the news and reacts like a kid who just found out that Santa Claus isn't actually a thing.

Just like the liberals with their "Russian Collusion!!!!".  Even the obstruction died down pretty quickly, despite their best efforts to keep it going.  Talk about the non-scandal of the century (fortunately, Trump finally gave them something with legs).

I think the "deep state" theory will be a similar dud, although I do believe there were abuses but generally out of good intentions and over-caution.  I think some crimes may have been committed as far as violating policy or venturing too far into questionable legality, but I don't expect any serious jail time to result.

Most are.  I do have a question and would be interested in your input.  What do you make of the minority leader of the Senate (a very powerful person in the federal government) stating publicly on a popular cable show that the intelligence agency "has six ways from Sunday to get back at you". 

Was it a threat?  A joke?  I found it very disturbing coming from a high level person in the federal government would openly state that a subordinate agency of the federal government could attack the POTUS for publicly criticizing them.  I took it at the time as maybe just political posturing.  Given what has transpired since then one begins to wonder.
