Typical thoughts on 1/6 on here.

The fact the only death was a protester/ rioter and not a member of Congress is the big reason it is not universally denounced or touted as a bigger deal.

If a member of Congress would have been injured or killed, then I think we would see more collective opinions on the day.

1/6 was not as bad as 9/11 or PH, because of the lack of deaths, but it was not just a walk in the park either. It was still a low point in our history as a branch of government was breached by an angry mob/ riot. That has not happened in over 150 years. Rioters stormed the capital and thanks for the police and luck no one was injured or killed.

In addition, the inaction by the President at the time, and his advisors pushing the election was stolen, even to today cannot be forgotten or diminished. The fact the Republican party does not squash the idea the election was stolen and in fact allows the crazies to continue to spout the bullshit is a bigger concern.

Nothing has changed since 1/6 as Trump still says it was stolen, his supporters still believe it, and the Republican party still believes it. If Trump run again, he will get the nomination easily, and we will be back in the same situation as he will contest the results no matter what.

If Trump was reelected and the left was the ones that went into the capital, it wouldnt have made the news after the 2nd day.

The left did protest after Trump was elected...remember the Women's March?

Let’s see what another investigation may find.

If you impeach Pelosi for 1-6 and lax security, can you also impeach Senator McConnell, who led the other side of Congress at the time?

Yet another story monopolized by the polititards on both sides. If those idiots at the capital were truly a risk to bringing down the republic, the US must be the weakest country in the history of countries. At the same time, imagine the fear porn the right wingers would spout if antifa had led the riot.

Well, technically, some of them did try to spin it as Antifa-led as a means of deflection.

I do not believe you are wrong, except for on Fox and OAN.

This woman is obviously intelligent, so is she purposefully lying or just ignorant of the truth?

Democrats stormed the Senate on 2018 because of the press and the lies about the Russia hoax.  I'll wait for you to show me your posts condemning that in the same terms.

You equate them as the same....and I, as a rational person, do not.

I'm sorry in 2018 did they hurt people and destroy property in the House and Senate? If so, show me.

In your original post, you lied and said it hasn't happened in 150 years. It happened less than 3 years before.

You're a lying sack of shit. Just like always.

I'm sorry in 2018 did they storm the House and Senate chamber? Did they endanger everyone? If so, prove it. Show the pictures.  Seems like you are the one spewing horse shit.

Yes, they did. They took over a number of representatives and senators offices meaning they stormed into the building, into the chambers, and took over offices.

How about when the liberal loon (Sanders supporter) shot up the congressional baseball game and injured multiple people, including sitting congressmen and an officer?

How about when liberals stormed the Kavanaugh swearing in and were pounding on the doors of the Supreme Court trying to get in?

None of those are considered by your side as nearly as bad as 1/6, which is odd given how close the 3 events are in seriousness and violence overall.

The hypocrisy is palpable.

In both cases, was the business of the Congress of the United States of America interrupted?

A rational person like yourself certainly remembers that Trump was not the first person to contest an election.  Don’t forget Stacey Abrams…  and yes, each one was stupid. And hopefully Trump doesn’t get the nomination “easily” or at all.

Nothing is going to improve at the Federal level until Joe Rogan is elected President.
