I still can't believe they admitted to this like it's absolutely no big deal.

Sure, it's benign, just like every other time the government "asks" business for a favor.

Maybe it's really just a trial run at coordinating things for the 2022 elections. "Hey, here's a post about Covid you need to take down....oh, and here's 1327 posts about Hunter Biden you need to take down".

Would you bet a significant amount of money that this administration would absolutely not declare a national emergence in an attempt to take control of the information available on social media platforms or the internet in general? Recent messaging has me a little concerned they're fixing to try something stupid.

It does kind of seem like this administration is actually doing some of the things "unnamed sources" claimed Trump was planning to do.

Also, can we talk about the loser Texas Democrats? The left complains about the filibuster but then celebrate people leaving the state so no quorum. The hypocrisy is absurd. I hope Abbot arrests them all and calls special session at all times until they have to vote. Losers. I hope they all get fired from their real jobs too.

The Cuban people are protesting their own government. In case BLM didn't get the memo, they're not chanting against the US or burning American flags - you have to attend a BLM march to find those things.

On a more serious note, none of this stuff will move the needle but it's "doing something" to fight the real cause [of their failure]: misinformation.  You know politics and the media are really screwed up when Biden can't just say "it's a free country, and some people have chosen not to get vaccinated".  That's it.  There's no shortage of good information out there on vaccination.
