Not sure about that.  He is likely the smartest of all of them.

"Smart" doesn't mean shit when it comes to these yahoos in Congress. They're a bunch of narcissistic assholes. Nancy makes me feel like throwup in my throat.

Cruz is a fuck. Better than the left, but he’s a cuck.

They’re all smart. You don’t get to that point without a lot of education and experience. But that’s not that I was talking about. I just think he’s the most smug dickhead out of all of them.

And it takes a lot to be the most smug dickhead out of 100 senators and 435 house members, virtually all of whom are assholes who care more about their party and its agenda than actually doing anything to benefit the people they allegedly are representing.

I'm lucky in that any potential stimulus money would be nothing more than a bonus for me, as I've been employed throughout everything, but it's gotta suck to be someone who lost all or part of their wages this year and really could use some sort of help, only to realize the people with the power to do so are more concerned about bailing out their corporate donors and making sure the other party isn't the side getting the credit for any help given out. Kind of thing that makes me look forward to the day when someone hits rock bottom, snaps and goes on the warpath against a few of them, if only to see if "fearing for their lives" changes anything about their "it has to benefit our party politically" mindset.

After looking at that omnibus bill, does *anybody* still want our govt in charge of our health insurance? Anybody in their right mind, I mean. I don't think they even have the capability to expand medicaid at this point without fucking it up and sending money to Israel, Pakistan, Sudan.

Yes, you have plenty of idiots adopting Bernie's logic of "if we can spend X amount of money on Z, then we can afford to have universal healthcare/"free" college/etc."

Bernie logic is flawed to the point where Z has to be cut to pay for it, Z isn’t getting cut

Anyone who had experience with unemployment benefits in 2020 will be a poster child for being against government-run anything, especially health care.  Try calling someone at the unemployment benefits office and live through that (if you can), then think about having govt in charge of your health care.  Of course, if we are that stupid, then we deserve it.

For sure.  Tax dollars are getting to travel with each student (which they do in public schools anyway).  But now private schools are gonna get rich.

You think private schools want inner city kids in them? U haven’t been paying attention. If they don’t want to live by you they definitely don’t want you in a classroom with their child. Good athletes and maybe some handpicked students at best.
