Progressives, part 3...

Considering I've come to look at Cuomo as a semi-intelligent dude who flails wildly at whatever thoughts he can come up with, usually in a day-late reactive manner AND who has 99% of his relevance solely from the New York ties, as opposed to actual merit, his star not rising any further wouldn't exactly make me upset.

I'd agree with all that.  Just interesting how they propped him up as this foil to Trump's leadership, and now that he's served his purpose they're throwing him back overboard.

I don't know if you saw it, but a few weeks ago there was a book or story from a different aide about how abusive he was, and also his so-called "leadership and response" was as bad as anyone else.

Of course, if Biden doesn't run in 2024 then Cuomo would have been one of the early favorites for the nomination. And it would only be further elevated if he was AG, so this might be the progressive left trying to torpedo him before he gains any more momentum.

Also, speaking of flailing wildly, I found CC's rambling about TEH COURTS to be hilarious.

"These people DESERVE to have their claims heard in court!!!!!"

And I don't know what the law says, but it's going to be a pretty high bar to throw out votes.  You would certainly need more evidence than just affidavit's for that to happen.  So, lacking that evidence, the case is rightfully dismissed.

On top of that, I think this lawsuit wanted to allow Republican legislatures in those states to sit their own electors.  So not just throwing some votes out that may or may not have made a difference, but invalidating an entire statewide result.  That would be an even higher burden, still.

Sure, and his brother, too.  But 70M+ also just voted for a second Trump term.

Could you imagine Trump vs. Cuomo in 2024?  I think that actually would be worse than either 2016 or 2020.

Biden won’t make it through this term.  If he does, he won’t have any signature moments to run on in 24.  Besides he will be 82.

The question is will he last as long as William Henry Harrisson.

Cuomo is a louse.  You look at all he has said about the vaccine the past months then fluffs his feathers at the first injection in New York today.

Took me less than a minute to verify the truth of the report from credible sources.

Can somebody explain to me, like I'm a child, how having named a school after Abe Lincoln affects student's ability to learn the difference between an adverb and an adjective, what an integer is or even where Nebraska is located on a map?

Of course it has no effect.  I personally don't care what San Francisco does.  I'd never live there, the people that do live there are voluntary, so they can do whatever they want.  I personally think it is insane to judge historical figures by specific standards of today.   No one will ever pass the test that way.
